ABOUT ME

Welcome!  I am a New York State licensed psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of cognitive, social, and emotional concerns for children, adolescents, and young adults.  My approach to both assessments and therapy is to empower individuals to understand more about themselves, their learning styles, and ways that they can achieve their goals. I aim to provide individuals and families with the support they need to navigate the complicated, and often overwhelming, process of identifying and finding the right resources and interventions to help them reach their full potential at school and throughout their lives.

I completed my undergraduate studies in psychology at Boston College. I earned a doctorate in School-Clinical Child Psychology and a Master's degree in School Psychology from Pace University, where I was the recipient of the Ivan Wentworth-Rohr Psychology Award for Excellence in Professional/Clinical Practice. My clinical experience has included positions within schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics, residential treatment centers and diagnostic centers, including Bellevue Hospital Center and New York University Medical Center. I completed my internship and postdoctoral training working with youth and families in foster care and coping with chronic, extensive trauma. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with learning, emotional or behavioral challenges, as well as developmental delays.
